We do not process ILL requests for out-of-parish patrons.

Requesting materials from another library system is called an "Interlibrary Loan". Before submitting a request for an Interlibrary Loan (ILL), please check our Online Library Catalog or our Online Databases to see if the East Baton Rouge Parish Library owns the book or journal article.

• Entire issues of a periodical
• Most genealogical material
• Current-year materials
• Reference books
• Course textbooks
• Recent, unmicrofilmed newspapers
• Bulky or fragile items
• Rare or valuable material
